To recover your Trezor Wallet, make sure you have your Trezor device and your 12 or 24-word recovery seed phrase on hand before getting started.

Step 1: Click the "Get Started" button to begin the recovery process.

Step 2: Connect your Trezor device to your computer via USB and follow the on-screen instructions.

Step 3: When prompted, enter your recovery seed phrase word by word directly on your Trezor device screen.

Step 4: After verification, your wallet and all accounts will be fully restored with access to your crypto assets.

You will need two things: your Trezor hardware device and your recovery seed phrase (12 or 24 words written down when you first set up your wallet). Without both of these, recovery is not possible — there are no exceptions.

Yes — when using your Trezor device correctly, your recovery seed phrase is entered directly on the hardware device, never on your computer or browser. This means your seed is never exposed to the internet or any potentially compromised software.

Always verify you are on the official Trezor website (trezor.io) before beginning recovery, and never enter your seed phrase into any website or software application.

If you have your 24-word recovery seed phrase, you can restore your funds to any new compatible hardware wallet. Simply purchase a new Trezor device and use the "Recover wallet" option during setup to restore all accounts and balances.

Your recovery seed phrase is a universal backup — it is not tied to a single physical device.

If you lose your recovery seed phrase and your Trezor device is also lost or damaged, access to your wallet cannot be recovered — by anyone, including Trezor. This is a fundamental property of self-custody security.

While your current device still works, it is strongly recommended to transfer your funds to a new wallet with a freshly generated and securely backed-up seed phrase.
